Chipmunks in the CommunityThanks to all who donated to the food drive for SHARE. The note below says it all: "Just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to you and all the students at Chesterbrook Elementary School for organizing, and carrying out, such an AMAZING food drive for SHARE. I finally had a chance to sort through all the donations and was just overjoyed at the amounts, as well as the specific items you all collected- items that SHARE so desperately needs. On behalf of SHARE and myself, a heartfelt thank you to you and the entire school community for your incredibly generosity." On a frigid February morning, a group of Chesterbrook sixth graders and members of the Community Service Committee volunteered their time at Bikes for the World, where they spent four hours taking apart and preparing donated bikes so that they could be shipped to Costa Rica for those in need. The students were so enthusiastic about their work and the organization was very appreciative of their time and effort spent in the community. Way to go, Chipmunks!
