After yesterday's snow and ice storm, we experienced frozen locks here at AA Lock & Key this morning. We thought this would be a good time to pass along a helpful solution. After your locks have thawed out, be proactive and use a moisture displacing lubricant before the next storm or frigid weather. Freely spray it in the lock to assure that the lock does not ice up! We recommend GT-85 or any high quality water/moisture displacing lubricant. A silicon or Teflon based lubricant is best.
