Key Security Tips
How secure is your home?

It is sad, but during the holiday season we tend to be on guard for unsavory characters on the internet, while shopping, or when we are out celebrating, however we tend to let our guard down on the job and feel that our work space is secure. Here are some security tips to keep you and your stuff safe this holiday season.
- Took a quick shopping trip on your lunch break? Keep your purchases in your car trunk or a locked office drawer.
- Avoid keeping large amounts of petty cash.
- Keep cash gifts in greeting cards out of sight or safely locked up.
- Beware of the new faces that help out delivery services this time of year. Don't hesitate to ask who they are and what company they work for.
- Be cautious of charities. Not all are legitimate and usually not allowed in the workplace.
- Keep your personal belongings close to you and locked away if you can.
- This time of year, the days get shorter so does the daylight. Park your car in a lighted area and away from the dark areas of the parking lot, and have someone walk out with you if you feel anxious.
- If walking or waiting for transportation, be aware of others around you, and stay in a lighted area.

Ask the Locksmith
Should I store my computer backup data in a safe?
Yes! And it is highly recommended, just make sure you use a fireproof rated data safe that protects computer media from fire, dust, magnetic fields, accidental damage, and electrostatics.

This month Campion and Holdridge replaced our front door to the shop with a window paned glass door. Wow, this new door lets in the sunshine and warms up the shop.
Looking forward to serving YOU in 2014!
