Greetings!

We are sure you are all straight out with holiday planning and festivities and trying to wrap up your work before the holidays are here.

We have some holiday security tip reminders for you.  Keep them in mind so you, your family and business are secure during the upcoming holiday season.

We also want to remind you of our Spirit of Giving.  Stop in and get some keys duplicated and know that a donation will go to a great organization!

And last, but not least, we are very excited about all the changes at AA Lock & Key!
  • We now have in place a new phone system with the capabilities of leaving a voice mail for any of us here at the office. We are always here in the office Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.  If you get our voice mail during these hours, it means we are assisting a client and we will call you back as soon as possible!
  • We also initiated our new dispatch system on December 1st!  This new system will enable us to keep your information in one place, keep it current, and at our fingertips.
  • We have mobile access out in the field to your customer information and can log in via iPads.
  • We can email your invoices directly through the new system and process payments easily and quickly.
Thanks for your patience while we get this new system up and running!

May you all enjoy a safe and happy holiday season with friends and family!

Holiday Security Tips

Business Security
  • Back up all computer data and be sure it is secure from fire and theft.
  • Lock your safe, with all valuable papers, backup media, etc. Be sure it is also fire proof.
  • Check all machinery and office equipment, including mug warmers, to be sure they are off.
  • Set your security alarm if you have one.

Home Security

  • If you will be away from home, even for a short period of time, lock your locks and set your alarm! Lock all windows as well.
  • Let trusted neighbors know you are away and have them keep an eye out for suspicious activity in the area. Do the same for them if they are away!
  • Don't post on social media that you will be away from home. Save your photos for after you return.
  • Use timers on lights to on/off randomly.
  • Stop paper or mail delivery.
  • Give a trusted friend or neighbor a key so they can check your house while you are gone. Frozen pipes are a nightmare!
  • Lock all valuables in a safe that is bolted down.
  • Lock all exterior sheds, garages, barns and out buildings.
  • Leave on a TV or sound system.
  • After gift opening, don't pile up those empty boxes by the curb to advertise to burglars you have new expensive electronics. That is a sure invitation to have your home burglarized.
