My Very Vegas Vacation: A 17-Year-Old's Experience in Las Vegas
Aaron Berke, one of our Summit seniors, took a trip to Las Vegas earlier in February with his mother and his fellow classmate Nick Santos. His account has been published on petergreenberg.com, an insider's guide to travel. We're delighted to share his insightful article with you.
Las Vegas has never been effectively promoted as a family-friendly destination -- and for good reason. The city has never positioned itself that way. If you happen to be under the age of 18, you might be out of luck entirely. You're too young to legally gamble, to drink, or to attend many of the shows. But that is beginning to change. We recently sent our 17-year-old reporter, Aaron Robert Berke (and his mom) to Las Vegas to discover the experiences beyond gambling, alcohol, and x-rated shows.
