Get ready for a night you'll long remember! Explore Liberty Science Center under the cover of darkness with your Summit classmates.

With exclusive film screenings, engaging activities, and snoozing under the exhibits instead of stars (no mosquitoes!), a Camp In at Liberty Science Center is the perfect group experience. 
 CAMP IN HIGHLIGHTS
Explore Liberty Science Center under the cover of darkness! How cool is that? Our overnight Camp In package is designed to provide our children with an experience that fosters independence and social interaction, as well as to travel with friends and to make new ones. All while being supervised by people who know them.

LIBERTY SCIENCE CENTER 
Overnight Trip

Trip highlights include:
  • Round-trip coach bus from Summit's Upper School
    Depart: 4:30 p.m. (Saturday); Return: 10:00 a.m. (Sunday)
  • Travel time is approximately 1 hour
  • Full-time staff chaperones and night supervision
  • Chaperones: Maria Alvarez and other Lower School staff; 1:5 chaperone-to-student ratio
  • Meals: Dinner (Saturday night) and breakfast (Sunday morning), plus snacks and beverage
There's special entertainment and adventurous activities for everyone. Your overnight stay includes: 
  • Cool fun with hundreds of unique, hands-on exhibits including the famous pitch-black Touch Tunnel
  • Climbing a fossil-studded rock wall
  • A movie in the world's largest IMAX® Dome Theater
  • Playing hide n' seek in LSC's mini zoo
  • A vivid 3D film in the Joseph D. Williams 3D Science Theater 
  • Sleeping among your favorite exhibitions
*Bring extra money for the gift shop which opens at 7:00 a.m. (not included). 
 
 
PRICING / DEADLINES / DETAILS
TRIP PRICE:
$230 per student.
Only students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 may participate.
Price is all-inclusive, except for the gift shop.
Limited to the first 30 students to register.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER:
January 13, 2017

PAYMENT OPTIONS:
1) Complete on-line registration and pay in full.

OR

2) Complete on-line registration and pay in two installments. Deposit of $125 is due with registration. Remaining balance of $105 is due on or before January 13, 2017. Prior to this date, an invoice with a payment link will be emailed to you for on-line processing using a credit card.

Regarding Medications and Medical Conditions: All participant parents will be contacted by Nurse Lucy Ware to coordinate information about medical, medications, limitations, allergies, etc. A form will be sent to each family to complete. Additionally, pleased be prepared to provide properly labelled and packaged medications by January 20, 2017, and a copy of your health insurance card.

Trip Terms & Conditions: Please download and read the Terms & Conditions for our trip prior to registering. Every parent/guardian will be asked to indicate that they have done so during the registration process. We appreciate your participation.
