Parent Contact & Emergency Information
Please remember to inform the school of any changes to your contact information, including your address, telephone numbers, and email addresses. Call the school office directly to make these changes. In the event of inclement weather or an emergency, we will use our K12 Alerts service to communicate with you via voice message, text message, and email. Parents are responsible for the accuracy of the information in this system. Returning families should log in to their K12 Alerts account and verify the accuracy of their contact data. New families already received their K12 Alerts account information in the mail and should set up their accounts immediately, if this has not been done. If you require assistance in accessing your K12 Alerts account, please contact John Trainor at jtrainor@summitqueens.com or call 718-969-3944, x313.
School Directory 2016-17
Every school year, Summit publishes its school directory at the end of September. This directory is for your convenience when contacting Summit classmates and parents. Information included: alphabetical student listing, alphabetical parent listing, key Summit contacts, staff listing, and Parents' Association contacts and committees. We ask that you respect the privacy of our Summit families and keep this information confidential. The Summit School's privacy policy prohibits the use of this directory for any purpose other than school activities and functions.
Summit's School Directory 2016-17 will be published in a pdf format and emailed to all parents in late September. We are doing this in response to the many requests made by parents who prefer to save a digital copy on their desktop for easy access. If a printed copy is needed, please send your request via email to:
Sue Ann Chong at schong@summitqueens.com.

Lunch at the Lower School
During the first two weeks, all students at the Lower School will eat lunch in school in their classrooms -- please remember to send a healthy lunch every day with your child. Microwaves are available in every classroom.
For eligible students, out-for-lunch privileges begin September 19. Eligible students include those who are twelve or older, have earned the privilege, and participated in Summit's out-for-lunch program prior to June 2016. Eligibility will be confirmed with each student prior to that date. Additionally, a nonperishable back-up lunch MUST be provided by parents to be held in school before privileges can be active.
REAP: Recreational Enrichment After-School Program
Providing the opportunity to have fun, while learning through new activities and socializing with your peers is the main goal of Summit's after-school program. The new fall session begins September 12. Any questions, please contact:
