This week has been our annual emphasis on Middle District missions. While each church highlights local missions at a time that works best for it, through this week's daily emails we encourage you to learn of the incredible spiritual impact of these ministries and to pray for each of them. As God guides, you also may contribute through your church or through the "donate" button at the top of the Middle District website, www.mdba.org

This year's theme is:

"Declaring His glory in our neighborhoods and around the world."

It is based on Psalms 96:3: "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous needs among all people."

Reaching Young People Not In Church

Getting youth to attend church is harder than ever!

Ask most of our Middle District church leaders who wish they knew the secret to attracting young people and they will tell you this is one of their greatest concerns.

This year's local mission offering will help support the ministry of Young Life. This nation-wide youth ministry has a remarkable track record in reaching high school youth for the cause of Christ. They meet in homes and always encourage the youth to get involved in a local church's youth ministry.
