This week is the annual emphasis on Middle District missions. While each church highlights local missions at a time that works best for it, through this week's daily emails we encourage you to learn of the incredible spiritual impact of these ministries and to pray for each of them. As God guides, you also may contribute through your church or through the "donate" button at the top of the Middle District website, www.mdba.org
This year's theme is:
"Declaring His glory in our neighborhoods and around the world."
It is based on Psalms 96:3: "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous needs among all people."

Youth Serving as the Hands and Feet of Jesus
Jesus told his followers,"for as much as you have done this unto the least of these people, you've done it unto me." With that in mind, Middle District youth have participated in community ministry through Kingdom Builders for many years.
Every spring and fall young people who love to sleep in on Saturdays, drag themselves out of bed to show up at 7:45 to help others in the name of Jesus. They gather for breakfast and a short worship service at a Middle District church and then head out for a day of labor. Youth of all ages, seventh graders to seniors, team up for hard work and ministry: some paint, some build, some clean, some rake, some clean, and all have fun.
Each Kingdom Builders session is held in a different section of Middle District: one time in Amelia, then in Powhatan, then in Chesterfield. The Local Mission Offering supports this ministry by purchasing the materials needed for the home repairs.
As you pray today, remember Paul Berkley, Tim and Laura O'Neal, Ronnie Osterbind, and James Wilson who now guide Kingdom Builders. Also pray that these acts of compassionate service will open doors for future ministry and witnessing which will build God's Kingdom.
