This week is the annual emphasis on Middle District missions. While each church highlights local missions at a time that works best for it, through this week's daily emails we encourage you to learn of the incredible spiritual impact of these ministries and to pray for each of them. As God guides, you also may contribute through your church or through the "donate" button at the top of the Middle District website, www.mdba.org
This year's theme is:
"Declaring His glory in our neighborhoods and around the world."
It is based on Psalms 96:3: "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous needs among all people."

Helping Churches Get Unstuck
Because more than 80% of all churches in America are declining or are plateaued, including those in Middle District, we want to do everything possible to provide hope and help to struggling churches. This is why the Middle District mission is to "start and strengthen churches." The "strengthening churches" part of the Local Mission Offering is used for many purposes; here are three:
- Providing customized consultation and planning for church revitalization
- Offering coaches and consultants for churches that are stuck
- Supplying resources for ministerial and church health
Pray today for the leadership of our churches and that the Holy Spirit will grant them the power and wisdom to reach the unchurched people in their neighborhoods with the transforming love of Jesus.
