Missions Offering Daily Devotion

This week is the annual emphasis on Middle District missions. While each church highlights local missions at a time that works best for it, through this week's daily emails we encourage you to learn of the incredible spiritual impact of these ministries and to pray for each of them. As God guides, you also may contribute through your church or through the "donate" button at the top of the Middle District website, www.mdba.org

This year's theme is:

"Declaring His glory in our neighborhoods and around the world."

It is based on Psalms 96:3: "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous needs among all people."

The Dream Started in a Nail Salon

Because of one woman's faith conversation with her nail stylist, conversations are now beginning to start a new work with
Cambodians in Middle District.

Today you are encouraged to pray for God's blessing on this "new work" because a lot of details are yet to be worked out before this dream ministry can become a reality. The Local Missions Offering section, "New Work" provides seed money to make possible this opportunity - and others like it.

We exist to start and strengthen churches that passionately care for people, bring honor to God, and impact communities and the world with the transforming love of Jesus.
