Gera Haus is a German street food-style restaurant at the Holiday Inn at IPFW and the Coliseum that's run by seniors in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program!



The restaurant is open every Tuesday night from 5 to 10 p.m. for a limited time.

Omnibus
Lecture Series




Bill McKibben, one of America's most prominent environmental activists, will take the Omnibus lecture stage to "describe where we are scientifically and politically in the fight to end our reliance on fossil fuel," in his lecture, "The Climate Fight Reaches Its Crucial Stage."

Symphonic Wind Ensemble to Perform at Carnegie Hall



Congratulations to the Symphonic Wind Ensemble as they experience the event of a lifetime during spring break 2016! The group will represent IPFW for the first time at a performance in the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City as part of the New York Wind Band Festival. Learn more about the concert and how you can support our talented student musicians.



3rd Annual Halloween Howl



Wednesday, October 28

Costume Judging
at 5:45 pm
Race Begins at 6 p.m.
Outside of the Walb Student Union west entrance





This family friendly event is part of the Third Annual Fall Fest. Proceeds from the Howl will benefit the Brown Ink Society, which provides grants to students facing financial emergencies that would disrupt their educational pursuits at IPFW.

In Memoriam



Jacob Fish, B.S. in elementary education '15, died September 30 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.


His wife, Danielle Stevenson, was injured in the crash. She is an IPFW alumna with a B.S. in Biology with Pre-Med Option '10.


Our thoughts are with our fellow forever Mastodon Jacob and his wife Danielle during her recovery.

As of September 2015, our license plate total sales number is 410. We are so close to our goal of selling 500 IPFW specialty license plates! We are officially on probation status, so if the state minimum sale of 500 plates isn't reached by December 31, 2015, our specialty license plate will be permanently discontinued.

17th Annual Mastodon Roast





Thank you to everyone who attended our 17th Annual Mastodon Roast on Thursday, October 1!

 
We had a record number of attendees this year, and the silent auction raised more than $540 for our IPFWAA Scholarship Endowment Fund.
