Professor Nick Mehta of IPFW's Department of Engineering will present two workshops on "How to Build a Cardboard Boat" on Wednesday, May 1, and Monday, May 13, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the IPFW Alumni Center. Kimberly Wagner, Former Director of IPFW Alumni Relations, Appointed IPFW's Chief of Staff

Chancellor Vicky L. Carwein is pleased to announce she has appointed Kim Wagner, former director of Alumni Relations, as her new chief of staff. Wagner began her new duties April 1. Wagner's career at IPFW began in 2004 as the ETCS program assistant. She moved to FYE in 2005 and then to the Alumni Relations office in 2008.
She said," I thoroughly enjoyed my time as the alumni director and I look forward to serving the university in a greater role. I met a lot of wonderful people while in the alumni office and I will always hold dear the relationships I formed while there." Read More ...
As we say goodbye to Kim, we welcome Tina Torres to our office.
Tina began her career with IPFW in 2003, when she was hired as a secretary in the Chancellor's office to assist with special events. She transitioned into a full-time event coordinator for the Chancellor in 2009. Prior to working at IPFW, Tina worked in numerous event production and public relations roles in Nashville and Chicago.
Tina began as the secretary of Alumni Relations in January and brings a wealth of knowledge in non-profit business operations, event planning, marketing, and development to the Alumni office. More Info ...

How did you become interested in photography? I was always creating as a child and in high school, but I didn't know what area I fit into. Photography started out as a hobby which led to me thinking, "this is really something I love doing, why not actually try to learn more about it and DO this." ... It took a while, but I eventually got there..
What is the best career advice you were given? There has been much advice that has been great and inspiring. To keep challenging myself and continue learning come to mind. Also, a huge mantra that I try to live by is to keep focused on what I'm doing, stop looking to what others are doing or have, because that can lead to you losing your focus and way. Read More ...
