For CEO's

Consultants and Professionals ONLY

Dynamic Wisdom with Advisory Roundtables

Starting March 21, 2013 and every 3rd Thursday for the following 6 months, we will be holding Master CEO Roundtable (for Professionals and Consultants ONLY) programs that bring together professional leaders for a stimulating exchange of information, ideas and insights.

Through one intro and six ½ day monthly sessions that explore the key drivers of a business, the open forum dialogues will delve into candid, solution seeking discussions focused on the challenges and pressures unique to top level management including business and operational issues and opportunities. This powerful experience gives you the tools to address your most pressing business decisions and enhance your leadership skills. The program is designed to provide participants with their own confidential "board of advisors" who can assist with business challenges by presenting solutions for discussion. You will find that nothing compares to having this confidential network of peers and multiple CEO-level facilitators whose sole intent is to resolve your issues and help you attain new levels of success. It all boils down to business leaders working together to leverage their collective wisdom.

Although participants will come from diverse companies and backgrounds, they share some common values. They know:

  • Continuous learning is necessary and that learning from peers is very effective and efficient.
  • They don't know it all and that they can benefit from the experience and expertise of other CEOs.
  • They demand a high return on their investment of time and money.

How It Will Work

  • Members meet in peer groups of 10-12 key leaders from noncompeting businesses.
  • At every session a different facet of running a business is profiled and each member has an opportunity to present to the group a challenge, issue or opportunity that is related to the topic at hand, and will receive immediate feedback in a confidential environment.
  • Every member signs a confidentiality agreement to create a venue where sensitive issues can be discussed openly.
  • The meeting is led by one to two facilitators with extensive but varied business experiences.
  • Guest specialists provide additional expertise to respond to the concerns.
  • All members can receive one-on-one attention and resources between meetings

Benefits of Participating

This dynamic convergence of people and ideas results in:

  • Gaining the collective wisdom and multiple perspectives on business and operational issues through open and unbiased discussions
  • A sounding board to discuss business topics that may be too sensitive to discuss with your own employees or your Board of Directors
  • A heightened ability to anticipate trends and issues
  • Sharing Best Practices by learning from others who have "been there, done that" thereby avoiding mistakes, pitfalls and roadblocks with their businesses
  • Making better informed decisions which leads to increased profitability and more effective visionary thinking
  • Being challenged and held accountable to make and execute actionable decisions
  • Engaging in more effective strategic thinking

Last year we launched a hugely successful founding Master CEO Boardroom Roundtable group comprised of healthcare, engineering, commercial cleaning, internet technology, real estate and franchises. We included the best of those models that utilized skilled management coaching with group and individual training within the group. Top successful entrepreneurs participated successfully in these types of programs and invested to have the opportunity to strategize, receive analysis and engage in one-to-one coaching.

We met once monthly in the board room of the Stark and Stark Law firm for 3 hours, each month focused on a new management issue/topic.  Responses of group members have included :

  • "This is the very best information and investment of time I have spent and been able to secure from anywhere this year.  What a difference it has made to my business"
  • "This process motivated and enlightened us to the importance of strategic planning in order to grow"
  • "Discussing business issues with other owners provides a huge opportunity for me to have an open exchange (where I often don't have this opportunity), hear fresh ideas and find potential referrals"
  • "The outside experts invited have helped answer specific questions I have had on finance, HR, marketing and strategy.  Their answers led to deeper and very helpful discussions"
  • "As a result of one small idea, a little question we learned to ask, from the meeting, made a huge impact in the communication with our staff.  It really opened our eyes to a missed opportunity"
  • "With this group, I don't feel isolated. In fact, I feel all the more empowered knowing we sharing common challenges and that I have been able to secure more solutions"
  • "Honestly, I am surprised.  I have to admit I was skeptical at first.  However, this process and this group has been hugely enlightening on how we operate and the opportunities, tools and even precautions we should be seeking"
  • "I had no idea this depth could come from the SBDC.  Wow, to think I waited so long"

All chief executives face a myriad of issues. You don't have to do it alone. Harness the collective wisdom of peers by joining the Master CEO Roundtable.
