Greetings!
The new year has been good to us and we have been booking appointments three to four weeks out. Thankfully our clients have been patient with us as we work hard to grow our organizing team and provide them with excellent service.
March brings the spotlight on our company through participation at the Great Big Texas Home Show at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas and then the very next weekend at the Ft. Worth Convention Center for the
Great Big Texas Home Show Fort Worth.
NBC DFW is currently running a contest for our services in connection with the Great Big Texas Home Show. Watch the local news for information on how to register to win. I will also be appearing on
Good Day Fox the morning of March 14, 2013 at 8am as an organizing expert. Tune in to watch. In February we added two new organizers to our GO Team to service the organizing needs of our growing client base. They have started training and will be serving the Garland/Plano, McKinney/Allen, The Colony/Lewisville, and surrounding areas. On a personal note, I have started the work of filing my taxes and am not enjoying it one bit. What I have enjoyed is cleaning out my filing cabinet in order to prepare the tax forms. I have pulled out all the tax information for 2012 and have updated the file folders that needed renaming, new labels, or just removal from the cabinet altogether. The last thing I want to share with you this month is about an important learning experience as a parent. My middle son just started his first job at IHOP and I informed him that he will be taking over his car insurance shortly. I also reminded him that he needs to save at least 50% of his earnings for college and give his 10% to tithe. After our conversation, hours passed and then he came to me and said, "Mom, what's the point in working. I'm already in debt even before I start with my car insurance and college".
The point I want to make is that there is a price to pay before you can see the results of any hard work. It may be bills that must be paid, teaching your children life lessons, or admitting that out-of-control clutter is affecting your family. What might feel like a hopeless situation (in my son's case the sense that he would have to work for years to get ahead of his bills), in reality is an opportunity for a better life, home, and family. If you are tired of living with chaos and clutter in your home, keep chipping away at your goals and one day you will wake up realizing you are already there. |

Protect your Identity and Get Organized
Did you know that someone with a portable card reader can electronically pickpocket your credit card? Or than someone can scan your credit card by using their smartphone?
The fact is that in a crowded area, someone can just touch your purse or wallet with this card reader and have your complete credit card number. How can you protect yourself?
The easiest way is to wrap your credit cards in tin foil to block the scanner, or order a special sleeve protector for your purse or wallet from: IDstronghold.com. For more information watch this report: RFID Hacking
After your cards are protected, organize them with a Card Cubby. This product comes in many different colors, shapes, and sizes. Choose one that fits your style and keep credit cards, coupons, ID cards, and business cards more organized!

Wrapped Up Organized
In almost every home we organize, there seems to be one common organizing dilemma: how to organize wrapping paper, bows, ribbon, and all that goes with the wrapping process. Here are some great solutions that should work in your home. Choose the one that works best for your allotted space. If you do not currently have an area where you can store these items, here are some suggestions:
- Choose the best location for wrapping your gifts. It is best to have a table, bed, or shelf to do the wrapping.
- Think about the size of your space and make sure you can keep all your wrapping items in one place so you do not have to run from one room to another. Include scissors, tape, and tags.
- Make sure your items are easily accessible. The ones you can reach are the ones you tend to use most.
- Purge items that you no longer like or that are torn or damaged.
- Purchase storage products that fit your selected space and item collection.
