We would like to invite you to Encounter Birmingham, THIS Thursday, August 27, at Meadow Brook Baptist Church, 4984 Meadow Brook Road, Birmingham, AL 35242. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. Encounter Birmingham is a ministry sponsored by First Priority and led by First Priority Area Director Debi DeBoer. Encounter meets monthly and is a non-denominational group of college students and young adults from churches all over the city of Birmingham coming together to worship. Encounter's mission is to LOVE people, worship Christ and grow spiritually. You and your students are invited!

 

Encounter is all about bringing the individual college groups from local churches together as the body of Christ in order to reach this generation with the Hope of the Gospel. Statistically, 1 out of 4 remains in the church after high school. This will not be the time when students walk away from the church, but instead are challenged to passionately love Christ with all their heart and to experience Him in worship.
