SENIOR PET SAFETY NET:
Rescue Nooney From Mistreatment
Nooney is a loyal, loving, dedicated companion. That makes her situation especially tragic.

This beautiful Beagle + Boxer mix has been part of her family in the Baltimore area since she was a pup.  She goes everywhere -- loves to go on walks or for rides  in the car.  Although she doesn't socialize with other pets she loves every human she meets, throughout the neighborhood.  And she is particularly fond of her master, the man of the house.

Unfortunately, her master is afflicted with dementia.  And as a result of the disease, he no longer appreciates Nooney's affection or remembers all the good times they have shared. Occasionally he mistreats Nooney.  In spite of this, Nooney continues to love her master and is confused and saddened that her love isn't being returned.

The lady of the house, who has lost her husband to dementia, feels she has no choice but to give up Nooney in order to protect her and give her the loving, forever home she deserves.

Whoever gets Nooney will discover she's a joy to live with -- crate trained, perfectly housebroken.  She gets on great with kids, but since she's not socialized she should be the only pet in the house.  She's a bit sensitive around her ears due to some growths that the vet has been unable to get rid of.  But other than that, she's healthy and ready to become your new best friend.  And she could really use a good friend right now.
