SENIOR PET SAFETY NET:
Two Cats... And One Moose
MOOSE
Now don't argue.  We know a Moose when we see one! Moose is just one of three adorable cats pictured here, who have been living together but aren't bonded with each other.  They can be adopted individually or as a group.

Moose is your basic Domestic Longhaired cat, and then some.  He's 17 pounds big but not obese, we're told.  Although Moose is the "alpha" cat in this family, he never picks on anyone.  The other cats just seem to automatically step aside for old Moose.  He'll jump in your lap and give you a kiss if you let him!  He loves toys and adores being brushed.
PETEY

Then there's Petey, a beautiful Siamese -- but he moves like a Tabby.  Petey won't sit in your lap more than a few minutes, unless there's another cat in your lap.  If that's the case, Petey will come around and try to muscle in on the territory -- he's very jealous.  And Petey loves to be groomed -- practically turning himself inside out with enjoyment!

And now Toby, a Tuxedo shorthair whose favorite hobby is snoozing -- although he does enjoy lap time, vocalizing, and catching birds. For the sake of the birds, we don't leave Toby outside very long.

TOBY
These three have been longtime members of the family in Waldorf, Maryland.  Sadly, the family is forced to move west and cannot take them along. Between now and the end of March, we need to find them new forever homes.  They're healthy, good with the litter box and eager to please.. YOU!

MOOSE
12 year old Domestic Shorthair male (neutered)

TOBY
14 year old Tuxedo male (neutered)

PETEY
14 year old Siamese male (neutered)

All in good health, up-to-date on vaccinations.  Cats can be adopted together or separately.

Please Read IMPORTANT INFORMATION about Senior Pet Safety Net pets:

The Senior Pet Safety Net Email is a COURTESY POSTING for senior or special needs dogs or cats who need a home.  This is  a service offered by HWAH to help  senior dogs or cats in need when HWAH is not able to accept them into the HWAH program. If you have questions about, or an interest in, the featured pet, please contact the person indicated in the Safety Net email.

Safety Net Pets are not HWAH Residents.  Once a Pet becomes a HWAH Resident, our commitment is that they will remain at HWAH for their entire life.  They will not be put up for adoption.

As always we are grateful for your support and your assistance in helping these pets in need by sharing their plight with anyone you feel might be interested.

HWAH truly believes:  "Saving one dog might not change the world.  But, surely for that one dog the world will change forever."

This is a COURTESY posting being sent by House with a Heart Senior Pet Sanctuary, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
