The Senior Pet Safety Net Email is a COURTESY POSTING for senior or special needs dogs or cats who need a home. This is a service offered by HWAH to help senior dogs or cats in need when HWAH is not able to accept them into the HWAH program.

If you have questions about, or an interest in, the featured pet, please contact the person indicated in the Safety Net email.

Safety Net Pets are not HWAH Residents. Once a Pet becomes a HWAH Resident, our commitment is that they will remain at HWAH for their entire life. They will not be put up for adoption.

As always we are grateful for your support and your assistance in helping these pets in need by sharing their plight with anyone you feel might be interested.

Nelli & Natalie

We're trying to help keep Nelli & Natalie together! This pair of Papillons are the prettiest pups in their neighborhood in Owings Mills, MD.

Unfortunately, they lost their home when their owner lost her job, and had to move to a place that doesn't take pets. A friend volunteered to take Nelli and Natalie in, so that they wouldn't wind up in a shelter. But the foster home has a jealous Chihuahua so we need to find Nelli and Natalie their own new home soon!

Nelli and Natalie are perfect ladies, though -- they get along great with the Pitbull and Beagle who also share their foster home. (Not sure how they'd get along with cats.) They are well-housebroken as long as they can go outside by themselves, without other dogs. They're crate-trained, fine with kids, love to go for walks -- and they are cuddly sweet with their family and with each other! With no health issues, Nelli and Natalie just need a new pet-friendly home, soon!
