IMPORTANT DATES FOR OUR SHORT TERM FOSTER CARE CLIENTS: 

 

WE WILL BE CLOSED and unable to accept short term foster care visitors from Saturday, May 31 to Sunday, June 8.  And once again, we will be closed Saturday, September 6 through Sunday, September 14.

 

House with a Heart's main mission is to provide a loving end of life experience for the senior dogs and cats who reside at the Sanctuary.  Our space for short term foster care visitors is always limited.
 
Please reserve space as soon as you have dates set for an upcoming trip.  If your pet has visited with us before,

SHORT TERM FOSTER CARE DROP OFF HOURS

Monday to Saturday - 10am to 4pm

Closed from 4pm to 7pm for feeding

Open again from 7pm to 8pm.

Sunday - Noon to 4pm

 

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO FREE DROP OFF OR PICK UP ON SUNDAYS

 

Fee is $35.00 per day for the first pup and $25.00 per day for each additional dog as long as they stay in the same space.  

 

(The local fair market value of this care is $35.00 per day and any amount donated above $35.00 per day is tax deductible.  Please consult your tax professional for any IRS questions.)

 

Pick up between 10 and 11am Monday thru Saturday - no charge for that day (Not available on Sunday)

 

Express Drop off - KISS AND GO - 7-8 pm Monday through Saturday- no charge for that day (Not available on Sunday)

 

FOR NEW CLIENTS:  Request a free "Get Acquainted" visit for your pup to get used to us before leaving them for a visit. This is by appointment only and based on availability. "Get Acquainted" visits must be between noon and 4pm - Monday through Saturday.   

 

For a "Get Acquainted" visit without your pet - Monday through Saturday noon to 2pm. 

 

If you find yourself seeking a place for your dog to stay at the last minute, please contact us.  We just might have space.  Wherever your dog stays, make sure the facilities are right for you and your dog!
