Incarcerated Youth Program

As teachers, we are always so busy attending to the needs of our students and families that many times our own needs go unmet. Between grading papers, teaching lessons and giving assessments, most teachers don't generally have time for a healthy lunch. February is designated as "Heart Healthy Month."

As teachers, we must resolve this month to make smarter choices when it comes to our physical health. Unhealthy physical health affects your mental health, which in turn could adversely affect the quality of the instruction that is being provided to students.
