Bill Franz's Dayton At Work and Play
The Wilson plant in Ada, Ohio is the world's only factory devoted solely to making footballs. Every ball used in every Super Bowl has been made there. This year's Super Bowl game balls will be made tonight.
After the conclusion of today's NFC and AFC Championships, a group of workers will go to the factory to begin inscribing Super Bowl game balls with the names of the final two teams. They will work through the night and then courier game balls to the two teams.
