This is an exciting thing because now the word is getting out about all Elkhorn has to offer.

Walworth County Fair Booth

Sign Up Today!Every year, the Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Center gets a booth in North Hall during the Walworth County Fair. As an added benefit to your membership, your business can sign up for two-2 hour time slots to showcase their business to thousands of people attending the Walworth County Fair. We take all of our members brochures to be displayed in the Chamber booth, but during your your time slot, your business becomes the showcase member for that time with all of your information and anything else you want on display front and center. The Walworth County Fair will be held September 2nd - 7th. Be sure to come by the Elkhorn Chamber's fair booth in North Hall to gather information on all the businesses, attractions, and events Elkhorn has to offer!
Please provide the Chamber with 50-100 of your business' brochures so that we have enough for the fair.

Start your holiday weekend with a BANG! Join us Friday, July 3rd starting at 5pm and enjoy an evening in Elkhorn's beautiful Sunset Park. Food and snacks such as hot dogs, walking tacos, burgers, popcorn, chips, ice cream and soda are available for purchase from the Elkhorn Chamber, Elkhorn 4-H and Elkhorn FFA. So bring a blanket or chair, family and friends, and have some summer fun with activities for the kids, music, food and a spectacular fireworks show at dusk!

The Elkhorn Chamber is in need of volunteers to help with our 10th Annual Oktoberfest this year. Residents have already received their copy that was part of the 8,600 that were direct mailed throughout Elkhorn and we're already hearing great things. Submit Your Events!
If you have events and or promotions for your business we want to know. Promoting your business and things you have going on is part of what we do and is included in your membership. Non-members can now submit community events directly on our website to be added to the events calendar by Clicking Here. Members can submit their events utilizing their member login through the Chamber's website. We'll also put your events in our e-newsletters and blasts as well as post your flyers and posters in our office. Does your business have special offers during Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Mothers Day or any other holiday throughout the year? We'll help promote those too. Events and promotions should be sent to us at your earliest convenience but no later than 1 month prior to your event taking place to allow us ample time to promote it for you.

Tee up against homelessness and support Walworth County's only 24-hour homeless shelter. Twin Oaks Shelter for the Homeless helped 151 individuals in 2014, nearly half of them children. The shelter provides case management, life skills workshops and a safe place to stay while participants move forward on their pathways out of poverty. Join us for a fantastic day for a great cause. Holton Manor presents a Wine and Walk where you can taste wine, enjoy tasty appetizers and tour their beautiful historic mansion. Proceeds from this event benefit the restoration of the historic Frank Holton mansion located on the grounds of Holton Manor. As well as preserving a piece of Elkhorn's history, the renovated mansion will provide a place for pediatric therapy, home health services, support group meetings and space for community events. Run United! Saturday, July 25th
United Way of Walworth County will host their 6th Annual Run United 5 mile Run - 2 mile Run/Walk during the Rotary Festival of Summer in the downtown square, Veterans Park. New this year is also a 1 mile Fun Run for kids age 17 and under. Registration is NOW OPEN and can be done online by Clicking Here! Festival of Summer! Saturday, July 25th
Enjoy the sounds, smells and tastes of summer! Support the Elkhorn Rotary Club at their pancake breakfast in the morning or by getting some delicious brats, burgers and roasted corn in the afternoon and evening. Stick around Saturday night for the Rotary Beer Tent and enjoy live music from local bands. Walk around and do a little shopping with the many crafters and vendors that line the square. The kids will have plenty to keep them occupied with all the activities available such as bounce houses, slides and more. Sit back and relax while you enjoy different entertainment on the community stage including performances from local groups such as the Elkhorn Flying Dragons, Toe to Toe Ballet and more. We even have race enthusiasts covered with the Run United 5 mile Run and 2 mile Run/Walk that starts in the morning at Veterans Park in the downtown square. 10th Annual Jamie Sendt Memorial Golf Outing!

Lutherdale Friday Fish Fry! Friday, July 31st 4:30-7:30pm
Menu Includes: Traditional Baked or Fried Cod, Choice of Potato, Cole Slaw, Bread & Butter, Applesauce, Beverage and Dessert. Each event will also feature a specialty fish choice. Cost: $12 for adults; $7 for youth (age 12 and under). Reservations suggested for groups of 8 or more.

Lauderdale Aqua Skiers Waterski Show! Saturdays, May 23rd - August 29th The waters of Lauderdale Lake will again be host to a long tradition on the chain of lakes as the Lauderdale Aqua Skiers thrill you with "The Magic of Showskiing"! Weekly shows are performed throughout the summer on Don Jean Bay on Lauderdale Lakes on Saturday evenings beginning at 6pm; future team exhibition shows start at 5:30pm.
Holton Band Summer Concert Series!

Paint Our Place Summer Program!
All middle and high school studentsare invited to join Sugar Creek Lutheran Church on Mondays and Thursdays all summer long for this exciting mission work, right here in our own community. Please come ready to work by wearing work clothes (meaning they can get paint/dirt on them). All groups after kick-off will meet after summer school (12:30) in front of the town square/government building. We return to the square at 3:00pm. It is an easy walk from summer school, and we'll meet you there with all supplies. Bring a brown bag lunch if you can or we'll provide a lighter snack and water. We meet rain or shine. Feeding Walworth County!
Feeding Walworth County is a not for profit 501(c)3 organization that raises funds to purchase and provide provisions for over 23 food pantries in Walworth County that serve over 4,600 families each month. Currently they have quarterly food distributions, which are of critical importance to providing food to those in need. After their most recent food distribution in April, funds for their next distribution on August 7th are critically low.
