Defensive Driver Training

Following the CERT and RACES quarterly meeting and exercise we will be offering the Defensive Driver Training class to active volunteers. This training class is required once ever 4 years.
Defensive Driver training is a required class in order to drive a city vehicle on behalf of the department, or to drive your personal vehicle on behalf of an activation or volunteer deployment including activations such as Fire Watch.
Following the course, follow up with your insurance provider to see if they accept the certification to qualify for a good driver discount.

*there will be a lunch break between the quarterly meeting and exercise and the start of the defensive driver training class.
