Active Shooter Response Training

The Anaheim Police Department SWAT Team is offering Active Shooter Response Training and a simulation for Anaheim Fire & Rescue volunteers, local business and school CERT teams. Everyone will be able to participate in the morning meeting and lecture, and the late morning simulation as either an observer or simulation participant.
The training will be held at the
North Net Training Center
Saturday, April 13
from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
During the CERT and RACES Quarterly Meeting
Registration priority is for Anaheim CERT and RACES active volunteers. Individuals trained in CERT or participating CMAP programs are also welcome to attend, especially as a simulation victim. Address and parking information will be included in registration confirmation.

Ear Protection Required
In order to participate everyone must supply their own set of ear plugs. You can pick up ear plugs in the pharmacy section of most grocery stores. You are welcome to bring and wear more advanced hearing protection such as earmuffs designed for shooting ranges.
Simulation Victims
If you wish to participate as a simulation victim, please arrive to the training with your own moulage completed.

There is no registration fee, however, due to space requirements we must limit registration. If your registration is accepted, you will receive an email confirmation prior to the training.
