CMAP Responder Training

West Counties CERT is hosting the CMAP Responder Training class. CMAP Responder training covers the core requirements for participating in mutual aid CERT activations within the County. The class is 6 hours in length and covers basic response expectations, radio communication and a review of ICS.
Saturday, January 19 Seal Beach (directions provided with confirmed registration) 8:00 am to 5:00 pm *students must bring a sack lunch to class

In order to participate in the CMAP Responder Training, you must have completed at a minimum:
In order to fully qualify as a CMAP Mutual Aid volunteer, you must also complete:
- Current American Red Cross Shelter Training Series
- CPR/AED and Basic First Aid
- IS-200
- CMAP Responder Mutual Aid Training Class
You may take the CMAP training in advance of completing the shelter training and CPR/First Aid classes. However, you will not be activated in a mutual aid capacity until you complete the remaining required training.

The class is being conducted by West County CERT in the City of Seal Beach. Registration for Anaheim CERT volunteers is below, this roster will be forwarded to Seal Beach.
