Winners of NJ Entrepreneurial Network (NJEN) Posters, Pitches and Prizes Session at Princeton University

 

 

Two Stevens Institute of Technology professors who started a company based on their dynamic-spectrum research at the school recently took home a Most Likely to Be Funded award. They received the honor at the New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network (NJEN) Pitches, Posters and Networking event Feb. 12, 2014, held at Princeton University.

The Honorable Rochelle Hendricks, New Jersey's Secretary of Higher Education and Head of the NJ Council on Innovation gave an inspiring keynote.  And according to Lou Wagman, NJEN's President, the posters were "the best posters we have seen in the six year of doing this event".

EDA approves $81.9M in incentives for six new projects

 

Agency expects those projects to create more than 1,100 new jobs

 

In a move the state hopes will lead to the creation of more than 1,100 new jobs, the Economic Development Authority approved incentives Tuesday for six projects under the recently revised Grow NJ and Economic Redevelopment and Growth programs.

Immigration Reform Stalls Again

 

This past week, it looked like some progress was going to be made only to have the Republicans pull back again.  

 

This article from the US Chamber of Commerce was written when the situation still looked hopeful. Although the situation has changed,  the article makes many important points on immigration reform and is a good summary.
