GOLF FEST 2016 A HOLE IN ONE!
The 25 th Annual Mercy High School Driving for Excellence Golf Fest held on July 18 at the Players' Club at Deer Creek was record breaking.  Donations exceeded $60,000 and 184 golfers played a beautiful 27-hole golf course.  Ingrid Kalinowski Borghoff '65, former VP of Advancement, and Ron Wilwerding, former Board member, were honored for their roles in starting the event and for their ongoing support of Mercy.  Proceeds from the golf tournament support our Negotiated Tuition Program. BACK TO SCHOOL
Where did summer go?  That was what our Mercy Girls were thinking when school started Friday, August 12.  We welcomed 104 freshman and 8 transfer students, including three students from China.  The girls were greeted in front of school by members of the cheer squad and student ambassadors.  Later that day the new students were given their Greenies which will be on display at the Greenie Parade and Welcome Picnic this Friday.  Softball, golf, volleyball, cheer, and cross country practices have started as well as preparation for this year's musical, The Wizard of Oz.  We are in full swing here at Mercy! MERCY DAY 2016
Mercy Day will be celebrated on September 23 this year because September 24 is a Saturday.  We want to take Mercy Day global and let the world know what we have to celebrate. We would love to have our alumnae participate!  Not sure what to do?  Here are some ideas:
  • Grab a cup of tea with some fellow alums.
  • Dust off that old Mercy shirt and show your Monarch pride!
  • Make a video of your best Suscipe rendition.
  • Share your favorite Mercy Day memory or tell us what Mercy means to you.
If you decide to participate, please post on your personal social media sites, share with us for Mercy's social media sites, and provide pictures and videos to our Communications Director, Deborah Daley at [email protected] Let's create a social media trend!
