Happy Holidays!

May you have the gift of faith, the blessing of hope and the peace of love at Christmas and always.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families!

This event wouldn't be a success without the help of our countless Alumnae! We are still looking to fill FIESTA with auction items!
Here are a few suggestions of gifts we could use more of:

Bottles of wine
Baskets (themed baskets are always a crowd favorite)

A Comfortable Cup of Tea
One of the traditions of Mercy High School, dating back to the life of foundress, Catherine McAuley, is a "comfortable cup of tea." While on her deathbed McAuley remarked to her sisters,  " Be sure you have a comfortable cup of team for them when I am gone." The cup of tea has become a universal signature of hospitality for the Sisters of Mercy.
Carrying on that tradition is Sister Jeanne O'Rourke, who has spent nearly 20 of her 60 years as a Sister of Mercy ministering to the students at Mercy High School. The current spiritual advisor at the school has tea time in a special room with Mercy students every Tuesday and Thursday.

This tradition was featured in a front-section story in the Omaha World-Herald complete with a video.  Read more.
