UMOCA presents a museum-wide opening

 Twice each year, UMOCA closes its doors to install new shows in each of its diverse galleries. Now, UMOCA is unveiling five new exhibitions: Kate Ericson and Mel Ziegler's Grandma's Cupboard in the Main Gallery, Almalia Ulman's Stock Images of War in the Code Gallery, Lizze Määttälä will present Uphill/Both Ways (local), Aundrea Frahm's Revolve Ceaseless (local), and local design and creative studios 7D8 and V present Mall no. 2. Throughout the night, visitors will also have the chance to explore UMOCA's E.A.T. garden installation with horticulturalist/designer Fritz Kollmann, as well as the Art Truck's 2015-2016exhibition featuring local artist Mary Toscano.
Admission is a suggested donation of $8, cash bar w/ beer & wine for $5 each

Over the course of a remarkable 40-year career that has time and again redefined the boundaries of rock, YES have become renowned for their live performances since being formed in 1968 by Chris Squire and Jon Anderson from a mutual interest in vocal harmonies and classical song structure. With drummer Bill Bruford, guitarist Peter Banks and keyboardist Tony Kaye, they metamorphosed into YES, earning a residency at the famed London venue The Marquee Club, where they played with the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd, releasing their self-titled debut album in July 1969.
