A day for both beginners and the experienced to meditate in an environment conductive to deepening meditation in a supportive atmosphere. Sitting in a chair is acceptable.

Rose Wagner's six resident companies (Gina Bachauer, Plan-B,  PYGmalion, RDT, Ririe-Woodbury, SB Dance) will be creating all new work based on the concept of "home." The companies will then perform their creations  that evening as ROSE EXPOSED: HOME, with 100% of the ticket sales benefiting The Road Home, which serves 7,000 people.

An evening of birds, bikes, and beer! Scott Lyttle, Deputy Director of Tracy Aviary, will describe the latest sustainable initiatives Tracy Aviary is implementing. Also, check out the oldest standing industrial building in the state of Utah, the Chase Mill. 

 

Phil Sarnoff, executive director of Bike Utah,  will also provide updates on how Utah is attempting to become one of the most cycling-friendly states in the US.

Around 12,500 Guatemalan children have come to the US this year to escape poverty, famine and little education.  Children in the Integral Heart Foundation find reason to stay for improved education and a newfound dream to improve others'. 
 
Refreshments will be served and Deb Prieto will present a short program that describes the work of Integral Heart Foundation and how you can help change lives.
