Dear friends & family,

The idea for this coming Saturday's Utah Clean Air Fair (noon-4pm) at the downtown Library Plaza was hatched just last month at an "Idea Silo," hosted by Revolution United. A lot came together in a little time! Come to the fair to check out 20 "new idea" booths and vote for your favorite idea. There will also be alternative energy solutions, an electric car and bike show, re-skilling workshops, keynote speakers, live music and representatives of organizations working on solutions.

We bonded over bad air. Let's stay active in the good air times, as well. Geography being what it is, inversions are inevitable. But we can do a lot to keep the air in our "bowl" cleaner. Let's see what we can think up on Saturday. (Forecast: cloudy but warm; high of 66!)

More events below. Enjoy the week!

But even if you can't identify its heavy rumble, you're more than likely to feel its pulse. We're in the gravitational pull of the fifth exact Uranus/Pluto square that occurs on April 21, and its relentless intensity has the power to place many of us into situations, conversations, and declarations we might otherwise avoid - even if we've visualized those moments in the privacy of our own minds for quite some time...(read more).
