Dear friends & family,
I'm returned from the inspired and inspiring 32nd Annual Telluride Mushroom Festival, where the focus this year was Medicinal Mushrooms. I am steeped in thoughts of all things mycological, as you will undoubtedly notice in the coming months of CATALYST editorial.
This week blows me away. For the first time since we began the Weekly Reader, I want to participate in every event! Gardening, film, activism, theatre, shopping, adventure, health, conviviality and music ~ here are 12 good reasons to knock off work early, rest up and head out.
A personal boost to Plan-B Theatre's free reading on Sunday: I have been moved by every Plan-B script-in-hand reading I've attended. Christy Summerhays is a compelling actress who inspires me again and again.
Also, catch the August CATALYST here (or pick it up at the newsstand) if you haven't already read it.
~ Greta
