Dear Friends & Family,

I love looking at the moon phases and sunrise/sunset charts to the left each week. It helps me notice those events in my daily life. I hope you find the charts useful, too.

The April issue of CATALYST is out.

It contains our annual Planting Guide, a handy pullout you can put on your fridge to remind you what needs planting when.

Below is a list of this week's picks.

The responses of science and technology, economics and policy are necessary but not sufficient for solving the complex problems we face in envisioning a sustainable future. We will also need the participation of the world's religious communities as we recognize the moral and spiritual implications of the life support systems of the planet diminishing. This talk by Mary Evelyn Tucker, from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, will highlight some of the work being done within religious communities around the world to bring healing and restoration to people and land.

Contribute to an upcoming CATALYST story!

Our two interns, Lacey Kniep and Jayne Ann Boud, are both getting married in May. We've assigned them the task of compiling advice for young marrieds from people "in the know."

If you're happily married, or wise by hindsight, and willing share something you wish you'd known (or are glad you found out) early on, please write to them.

From a sentence to a few paragraphs, we want your input. If you like, include your "credentials" ~ married (how long) or divorced. Names optional but encouraged. You're also welcome to include a photo. Send to: lacey@catalystmagazine.net ~ by Wednesday, April 10.

We will publish a compilation of your comments in the May 2013 CATALYST.
