Greetings!
I'm glad you are safe and hopefully somewhere warm. Hurricane Sandy is a forced shut down of our daily life styles, but also of untold self imposed activities that prevent us from winding down and processing our lives to gaze where we are with it. Also, it's a huge opportunity to redeem ourselves if we haven't exercised acts of kindness lately or ever.
Please check in on elderly friends or neighbors and homes with women and young children. Many folks are shy to accept help, but offer a warm meal or other help some how. Be very careful driving since we are on most roads left to use common sense which some of us forget we have.
This is a good time to take stock and plan on paper all necessary items and resources for survival in future should another calamity occur. Remember be kind to nature, but important to know is that we are part of nature, just like the animals and plants. Be Safe.
