Greetings! Wow...and I thought 2012 got off to a great start...2013 is already unbelievable!!! The shortened version of my mantra for 2013, "Change My Routine in 2013" has literally changed my life! I am doing a lot of things differently this year. Not necessarily major changes, but nonetheless changes. As a result, things are really happening for me, as they will for you, if you make just small changes in your routine. I am more focused, getting more things accomplished, enjoying quality time with friends, near and afar, and truly Living my Life to the Fullest!!!This year already I have accomplished some firsts...started the year with a 'Prayer Breakfast' event, went on a 'Full Moon' hike, held the first meeting for my 65th Birthday Grand Canyon Adventure, planning a Belize Sail. I have also made some smaller changes like, getting up earlier to start my day with personal meditation, studying, writing and/or workouts. Also, taking the time to reach out to both old and new friends, just to say hello, and moving on from those who choose not to celebrate life in a positive and productive way...all this in January! All that said, I must complete this newsletter so I can update my blog post... I invite you to join me in my 2013 mantra which will be good through 2019 :) - In 2013 I shall expand my routine to live more green, and strengthen my faith and belief in the unseen.Love Much, Laugh Often, Live Long & Strong... ___________________________________________________ |

| Hartfield's Hikers Black History Hike at Sweetwater Creek
| February 2 | Saturday 8:00a.m. Sweetwater Creek - Yellow Trail 3.0 Mile Loop Rated: Easy / Moderate I will tell you that we can be proud to know that not only did enslaved workers build the mill more than 150 years ago, they also made/manufactured the bricks. We should take pride in the skills of our forefathers. The building stood 5 stories high and was the tallest in Atlanta at the time. I suggest you focus on the workmanship that apparently was so superior that after being blown up during the civil war, these ruins you will see still remain after 150+ years.
