New Recording Room Allyworld Open Now in Takoma Park
 
 
Thanks to all of you who came out to the Allyworld Opening Party earlier this month in our Takoma Park studios. It was great to see so many friends, both new and old. Allyworld Design Nominated for 31st Annual NAMM TEC Award


We were excited to learn that SIA Acoustics was nominated for a NAMM TEC Award for "Best Studio Design" for their design of Allyworld. Congratulations to Sam Berkow and his team for their excellent work expanding the recording capabilities of our Takoma Park facility.

Grateful Dead "Fare Thee Well" Available Now on CD and DVD/Blue-ray

This past summer, the Grateful Dead celebrated their 50th anniversary with their "Fare Thee Well" live series, which broke records for both concert attendance and live streaming viewership. This month Rhino Records releases "Fare Thee Well," a set of audio and video discs from the July 4th weekend shows in Chicago. 

The concert CDs were mastered by Jeffrey Norman and the Blu-ray/DVD audio was mastered-in stereo and 5.1 surround-by Airshow's David Glasser.

Four Disc Set of Old-time Recordings Mastered by David Glasser Out Now
 
This month, County Records releases a four CD box set spanning 50 years of old-time music recordings from the label's vault. Several years in the making, Legends of Old-Time Music includes 113 tracks, many previously unreleased, and a booklet of informative notes. 

The set was produced by the late Charles Faurot who recorded many of the performers, along with Christopher King and County Records founder Dave Freeman. The set was mastered by David Glasser.
