As many in our industry scatter for an extended holiday break, we want to take a moment to thank you for continuing to be part of our professional lives as we take Airshow into its 32nd year in 2015.

 

2014 brought us lots of growth and positive changes. We welcomed new studio managers Mike Petillo (Takoma Park) and Karen Maye (Boulder) to keep things humming. If you haven't had a chance to make their acquaintance, give them a call to say hi! 

 

Each year brings its challenges and rewards, and that keeps us looking ahead. We're looking forward to collaborating on many more fun and interesting projects in the new year.

57th Annual Grammy Award Nominees Include Many Airshow Clients

Congratulations to this year's Grammy nominees, which once again include many Airshow clients. 

Three out of the five nominations for Best Bluegrass Album were mastered by Airshow engineers: Bryan Sutton's "Into My Own" (Sugar Hill Records) and Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen's "Cold Spell" (Compass Records) were both mastered by Randy LeRoy, and The Earls of Leicester's self-titled album on Rounder was mastered by David Glasser. 

Peter Kater & R. Carlos Nakai's "Ritual" (Mysterium Music) was nominated for Best New Age Album and was mastered by David Glasser. 

Additionally, two box sets were recognized: The Grateful Dead's "Spring 1990 (The Other One)" (Rhino Records) was nominated for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package (mastering by David Glasser) and "The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records Volume 1, 1917-27" (Third Man / Revenant Records) was nominated for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package and for Best Liner Notes (mastering by David Glasser and Anna Frick).
