Record Store Day + The Master Parts Package You Need to Produce Vinyl
Did you know there are Record Store Day participating stores on every continent except Antarctica?
This Saturday, April 19 is Record Store Day--the annual event designed to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1000 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally--and we are honored to have had a hand in several of the special releases planned for the day. See the full list on the Record Store Day site!
Thinking about vinyl for your next release? Check out our blog post from the archives, Is it Time to Rethink Your Master Parts Order?, to learn more about what you need from us and what else you can do with a 24-bit high resolution master.
NARAS San Francisco Chapter Events + Board Elections Now
The San Francisco chapter of The Recording Academy chapter visited Colorado last month for two member events and a chance for members to meet the candidates for Board elections. Chapter VP Michael Starita and membership manager Analisa Lono hosted 70 music industry pros at the two events.
Board member elections are happening right now, and Colorado has three candidates up for election to the SF Chapter Board of Governors. One is our very own Founder and Chief Engineer David Glasser. (hmm, Guv'ner Glasser?)
