Live Mixing on an iPad
 Charlie Pilzer gets out of the studio and into the live room to mix shows from time-to-time. He says, "I like it; I view the live mix as a part of the artist's performance. My job is to make the artist sound fantastic - much like mastering recordings." He recently had the opportunity to mix at Brooklyn's Golden Festival from a lightweight, mobile iPad set-up which allows for great flexibility.

Sound City Panel at ETown Hall
 David Glasser was part of an informative panel with Nick Forster (founder of ETown), James Guercio (founder of Nederland's historic Caribou Ranch), and Kenny Passarelli (writer of Rocky Mountain Way) at ETown Hall's screening of the Sound City movie last month in Boulder.

Hearing Jim, Kenny, and Nick add their musical stories was a real treat.
