Airshow Turns 30! | |||
A handful of folks may recall the birth of Airshow in 1983, when David Glasser founded Airshow at home in Northern Virginia. Some fine engineers and many, many talented artists and producers have been part of a journey that finds us now with two excellent studio facilities staffed by committed audio pros. We're celebrating our 30th anniversary all year! Reminisce with us about a recording project you are particularly proud of - one that we had the honor to work on with you - and it may end up on our website. The conversation's at Facebook. |

Boulder's new Studio Manager, Jessica Nicolella, joins us this month. Jessica's work with Yonder Mountain String Band over the years and project work with Planet Bluegrass and the Northwest String Summit place her squarely in the center of Colorado's acoustic music community. Says she, "My passion for helping creative people turn what they do into what they do for a living fits perfectly with what the engineers at Airshow strive to do every day." Jessica is here to field inquiries and schedule projects to make sure they move smoothly through the Boulder studios and out the door. Reach Jessica at 888-545-9035. |

The duo was recorded live, no more than six feet apart, at 96/32, and mixed analog into a Korg DSD recorder. David mastered from the DSD files for all release formats, including Red House Records' first hybrid SACD. |
