Dave Glasser remasters Patricia Barber’s “Modern Cool” for Blu-Ray release
Premonition Records recruited an impressive international production team for their release of the iconic Patricia Barber recording "Modern Cool", a long-standing audiophile favorite, as a "Pure Audio" BluRay disc. The 192k 24 Bit Stereo version was mastered by David Glasser at Airshow in Boulder. Jim Anderson, engineer of the original recording, created a new 96k 24 Bit 5.1 Surround mix at Skywalker Sound in northern California which was mastered by Darcy Proper at Wisseloord Studio in the Netherlands. The BluRay disc was authored by Stefan Boch at MSM Studios in Munich. The high resolution Pure Audio BluRay format allows navigation of the disc without the need for a TV or video monitor. |

Studio A in Boulder available to outside producers, engineers, and artists. |

Airshow’s recently repurposed Studio A offers great flexibility for producers, engineer, and artists finishing their next project. The studio is well equipped for mixing, mastering, overdubs, and post-production. Centered around a ProToolsHD rig controlled by a Yamaha DM-1000 console and Dunlavy monitoring, Studio A is an accessible, acoustically controlled space. Tie lines make it easy for a producer or engineer to add their favorite gear. An in-studio vocal booth is available for overdubbing and there’s plenty of comfortable client space for long mix sessions.
