Tips for creating stress-free random pairs


Many teachers are reluctant to have students stand and pair off to talk about content, even though they know moving and talking are great for learning. One reason for this reluctance is the stress of creating random pairs. Here are four ideas that will make selecting random student pairs both easy and fun at any grade level.
