ABOUT GRACE

What does the word grace mean to you?

For some it's what they say just before a meal. For others it's the name of the girl that works two cubicles away from their desk.

If you're like most people, you've probably heard this song and know it well enough to finish this line:

"♫ Amazing grace, how sweet the sound... ♫"

But what exactly is grace? You may be surprised to know that Jesus never used the word itself. He just taught it and, equally important, He lived it. Furthermore, the Bible never gives us a one-statement definition, though grace appears throughout its pages --not only the word itself, but also numerous demonstrations of it.

This weekend we will look at Stepping Up For Grace --and we'll discover that you can't really step up for grace --you can only receive it from Jesus!

WOMEN'S RETREAT

Ladies, it's time to get away! Our Women's Retreat is coming February 5-7 at Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center.
