YOU SAY YOU WANT A RESOLUTION
                                             
The start of the New Year is often the perfect time to turn a new page in your life, which is why so many people make New Year's resolutions.  Are you part of the 50% of the population that made a resolution this year?  Maybe a more important question is will you be part of the 8% who achieve your New Year's resolution?  According to research, 80 percent of those who make resolutions on January 1 have given up by Valentine's Day.  Does that mean you should abandon any hope of change? No, what it does mean is that for real change to take place you may need something more than willpower.  The good news is that if our resolutions are intended to help us to grow spiritually, God offers us His Spirit and His grace to help us achieve the things that we've resolved.
 
I hope you can join us this weekend as we continue our new series "Step Up" and look together at the things that can help us to achieve spiritual growth.

This is the second in a series of four growth classes that is geared to equip us with five spiritual disciplines that help us to become more like Jesus and encourage our spiritual growth. MEN'S WORKDAY

Financial Peace Univ FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY
FREE PREVIEW: JANUARY 31 
                                             
Stop worrying about money, and start your journey to financial peace. This class meets for 2 hours each week for 9 weeks, during which time the average family pays off $5300 in debt and saves $2700. WOMEN'S RETREAT

Ladies, it's time to get away! Our Women's Retreat is coming February 5-7 at Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center. STEP UP SPECIAL OFFERING
NOW THROUGH JANUARY 31, 2016 
                                             
We're entering the final month of our "STEP UP" Special Offering (January 31 is our deadline).

Would you pray that we reach our goal to fully fund this Special Offering...and consider how God would have you give between now and January 31?

As you know, our goal for this Special Offering is $60,000, and 100% of the offering goes to support 5 very important ministry initiatives that will help our church show Jesus' love in some incredible ways in 2016.

GOOD NEWS: Over 125 people have already given over $39,000 to the Special Offering. So we are 65% of the way to our goal.

OUR OPPORTUNITY: With the looming deadline of January 31, we have a great opportunity to reach our goal and fully fund every ministry area of the "STEP UP" Special Offering. And you can help us get there!

If we can achieve 100% of this goal, we can "STEP UP" as a church by:
  • Planting Churches
  • Reaching Out Globally
  • Reaching Out Locally
  • Reaching the Next Generation and Funding New Ministry Opportunities
