CHRISTMAS EVE

TONIGHT!

A Charlie Brown Christmas is the longest-running cartoon special in history, airing every year since its debut in 1965. It's also remembered as a movie that no one wanted. It was criticized as being too religious - Linus quotes straight from the King James Bible. It was criticized for featuring contemporary jazz, an offbeat choice for a cartoon. It was criticized for not having a laugh track. It was criticized for using the voices of real children (except for Snoopy).

Of all the lines in this movie, my favorite is when Charlie Brown asks the question, "Isn't there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?" That's also the question we'll be looking at this evening in our two Christmas Eve services at 4:00 & 6:00PM. Each service will last about an hour. Childcare will be available for children 5 years and under. Children 6 years and up are invited to attend the services with their family.
