Good Morning! It's Pastor Rick and I just wanted to take a moment to wish you and your family a Happy Fourth of July.   In addition to tomorrow being July 4th, it's also the 185th day of this year. That means we're half-way through 2014.

 

It seems like a good time to check on how we're doing with those New Year's Resolutions. If you're among the 50% of Americans who make one or more New Year's resolutions every year, the odds are you're also one of those who doesn't keep the resolutions you make. The people who study these things tell us that only 8% of those who make resolutions actually succeed in achieving them. That pattern of vowing to put a bad habit behind you, and then failing to keep the commitment you've made can lead to feelings of guilt and failure. Maybe we even find ourselves asking, "Lord, why can't I change?"

 

This weekend, as we continue our At The Movies series, we're looking at "Transformers 4: You Don't Have To Stay The Same." It's a great time to invite a friend to church because every first time guest, along with the person who invites them will receive a FREE AMC/REGAL Movie Ticket.

Our Youth Carwash-A-Thon is coming Saturday, July 26. Support our kids by sponsoring for every car washed, by serving at the event, or simply by bringing your vehicles and encouraging friends to do likewise.
