WEIRD RELATIONSHIPS?

 

When you think about weird relationships any number of images can come to mind.  As we move closer to the holiday season, maybe you think about that peculiar relative that you'll be sharing a meal with that you only see once a year.
 
This weekend, as we continue our series "Weird: Because Normal Isn't Working," we're going to be looking at weird relationships, but we won't be talking about your strange Aunt Edna or your bizarre Uncle Earl.  The weird relationships we'll be examining are our relationships with God, and our relationships with others that we're called to pursue as followers of Jesus Christ.  I hope you can join us!

thanks food drive THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

ERBC is excited to be partnering with World Impact to provide 50 care boxes full of food for needy families this Thanksgiving. Please look over this list of items  to see what you can donate.  Bring items to the Worship Center by Friday morning, November 22. habitat for humanity HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23           

ERBC Young Adults invite you to join them in partnering with Habitat for Humanity to help repair and repaint homes for veterans, disabled, elderly and other deserving families in our community.  This outreach is happening Saturday, November 23 from 8AM-3PM.  You must be 18 years+. blood drive BLOOD DRIVE FOR MISSIONS
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24            

Give blood to benefit patients and share the love of Jesus at the same time!  For each donor, Blood for Missions will donate $10 to Kenya Hope and $10 to Young Life. Thanks Eve THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27             

ERBC has a long-standing tradition of joining with the people of Eagle Rock Covenant Church for our annual Thanksgiving Eve Service. We invite you to join us for this special time of giving thanks, Wednesday, November 27, 7PM in the ERBC Worship Center. Plan to stay after and enjoy some refreshments!

CHRISTMAS WRAPPING PARTY
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5               

Eagle's Wings Seniors invite everyone to celebrate the holiday season by donating and wrapping gifts for the children of Elizabeth House.  It's happening Thursday, December 5, 1-3PM.  Bring a new toy for a child (birth to 10 years old) and wrap it at the party (gift wrap provided).  Enjoy dessert, coffee, cider and eggnog.  Contact Hortensia: hortensia@eaglerockbaptist.com.  

WOMEN'S CHRISTMAS TEA
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7                

Our Women's Christmas Tea will be a time for women to celebrate the gift of Jesus. We'll enjoy festive food and a holiday message from Sarah Fox. A special offering will be taken for #Special Delivery Uganda. Tickets are $12 per person, or invite your friends and purchase a table of 6 for $60 or a table of 8 for $80.  Childcare is available.  Tickets available beginning this weekend.
