YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE
 Most of you know the story of Jonah. The guy who was swallowed by the big fish and lived in its belly for 3 days. He got there because the Lord asked him to go one way but he decided to go another. And, knowing he was disobeying God, he set out to "run away from the Lord."
It seems crazy for someone to try and run away from God. Is there anywhere we could go that He wouldn't see us? Find us? Reach us? When we read the story of Jonah, we almost laugh at his stupidity; yet, even now, some of us are just like him.
The book of Jonah may be considered a children's Bible story, but it is full of grown up lessons. This weekend we'll move beyond the flannelgraph as we look at Jonah, one of the most famous runners of all time.

 YOUTH SERVICE PROJECT
ERBC Youth will be reaching out, putting together practical care packages and delivering them to the homeless in our community. Saturday, September 14, 9AM-1PM in Chi Hall.
