FIGHTING HUMAN TRAFFICKING
& CHILD EXPLOITATION
Two weeks ago, the FBI announced the arrests of 159 people and the recovery of 105 children involved in child prostitution rings across our country. Even though the 76-city sweep was the largest such law enforcement action focused on children forced into sexual slavery, it represents just the tip of the iceberg in comparison to the enormity of the problem world-wide.  iEmpathize is an organization that is committed to eradicating child exploitation in the U.S., Mexico, Russia and Southeast Asia. Last month ERBC sent a team to Tijuana, Mexico to visit a safehome that ministers to some of those who have been rescued from human trafficking. This weekend, as we continue our series "Growing God's Kingdom," we're welcoming our special guest speaker, Guido Hajenius who works with iEmpathize to coordinate efforts in Southern California to fight and end child exploitation and trafficking. I invite you to join us for this eye-opening look at what you and I can do to make a difference in Growing God's Kingdom in this critically important area. Please note: Because of the sensitive nature of the subject matter that our speaker will be dealing with this weekend, we encourage parents with young children to use discernment as to whether they want them to remain with them in the Worship Center to hear the message. ERBC is partnering with Praise Chapel Los Angeles in planting a new church in MacArthur Park, and we are helping to host a movie night in that community on Friday, August 23.
